Here is a pic of the stock 09 wrx...
First mod I did was PIAA low and high beam bulbs...
Then, Kartboy Shifter Bushings frt & rear...No pics.
Red pinstripe...
SPT CBE...
Sun Visor Sticker Delete...
Kragen Special Boost Gauge...
Perrin Shorty Antenna...
Random Color Changes:
Then did STI Swift Springs, Rota Formula Mesh 18x8 w/ AS Tires, and Tint...
OEM Fog Lights with PIAA bulbs...
Rode like that for awhile.
Then, research, Subie friends, and other factors got me to think a little differently.
Then I...
1) switched all the turn signals back to amber,
2) lost the red pinstripe, and
3) switched back to the stock airbox.
After that...
Cusco Zero 2E Coilovers, Rear Sway, and Whiteline Sway Mount Brace...
Group-N Engine Mount...
Group-N Tranny Mount and Whiteline Tranny Subframe Bushings...
Caster Mod...
Whiteline Bump Steer Kit...
Current Pics...
Switched to 5W-40 Motul Motor Oil.
Some installs, maintenance, and suspension custom tuned done by Auto Headquarter.

Lookin real clean but man, the red interior lights? When I got my car, previous owner had done em all, even the trunk. Still trying to get rid of em. Still have 1 pass dome light and the trunk light to do...ugh so many bulbs, too rice for me. Good looking '09 none the less, I don't see too many. Blue bulbs is a no go!

As far as the red dome and trunk...I like having the red dome for more suddle lighting. If I need crazy bright lights, I use the reading lamps...they are still white. Plus, the cluster and dash lights are mostly red too. Unlocking and locking the car looks better with color.

AHQ advised going any lower. But, I think if I go back to 17's that would lower it, plus AHQ would drop it a little more for me.
Next step for the coilovers is 10k/10k or 10k/11k SWIFT springs.

quick question, i know you dont have it on anymore, but why the red pinstripe in the first place? i was at uci, and i remember seeing an 09 with the exact same thing and thinking: huh?

Plus, I am the type of guy that does that **** to keep myself busy on the weekends.
I pulled it off a couple months ago and recently put a pink pinstripe...I mean cherry blossom red.
