Car is now running. Engine mods are as follows.

- vf34 with sti injectors and walbro fuel pump.
- utec engine management. Stand alone ecu has not arrived yet.
- EJ20 engine with S&S Autoconcepts cylinder head pnp and combustion chamber work. 264 cams, titanium retainers, valve springs. Bottom end has forged piston 8:1 comp and forged connecting rods.
- dynoed at 306 whp. Loss of 6 from the last dyno on stock. This was attributed to a different dyno used the last time. We are very happy with the result of this engine. Power band is very broad. It will run next Wednesday (9/27/06) at Infineon to get quarter mile number.

- the car just came from Infineon. The RA tranny broke. Suspected 1st gear and possibly center differential. We were able to put one run and it was 12.29. We were able to do faster on the stock engine
Details to be posted on 1/4 mile motorsports forum.

Wow that stinks. 6 speed swap now? Or rebuild the RA's?
