That's awesome man! Can't wait to see it all painted up and finished head to toe! It's sweet that your lady friend was there/willing/interested to help you through the project . . . her kind is a rare breed!

The guys @ Garage Tuning ususally like to get JDM door panels. Half the shop guys' cars have different color doors. My car's there now getting swapped
I went with an 04 STI motor+ JDM 5 speed from a Ver IV type-R and R 180. I'd have spent around 15 too if I didn't go with the JDM tranny. Still teary-eyed.

Here are some pictures of my swapped coupe in action, I have been running this car for about 6 months now with a great big smile on my face !! I would have liked to do the swap myself, but it was done by a local shop called Vakamon Motorsports. I purchased a wreck from a local auction, and proceeded to wait 5 months for it to be done. Sorry, I don't mean to jack your thread, but it is really nice to see more swapped RS's.

Finally, some updates...
Just installed:
Maddad v2 turboback
APS uppipe (replacing the cobb uppipe)
APS turbo inlet pipe (replacing the perrin pipe)
RPS MAX Street Clutch
Also, a little while back we finally got door panels, a new roof liner, the 2005 STI stereo, front power window motors and the driver's side power lock installed!
The car is finally starting to look complete... =)
Thanks again to LIC for the inlet pipe and clutch install.
