well finally got off my lazy **** and installed them today, went smoothly, i got the CEL of course but my car DID NOT go into limp mode like aaron had stated, car feels stronger from 5000 rpm till redline, wed i will retune i will have a baseline before he retunes it to compare from the runs i put down a couple weeks ago, just an fyi my tuner Mike from gruppe-s tuning recived the tgv cel fix from ecutek this morning so it came at perfect timing, heres what i dynoed before on CA 91
car is an 04 wrx sedan with a gt30 turbo kit, at 1.3 bar of boost, and supporting mods

James, our experience was based on what were hearing from Ecutek and the fact that a TGV sensor problem puts STi's into limp mode; I assumed that removing the sensor would have that same effect. I'm not sure if it's different between WRX and STi ECU's, or if the removal process doesn't cause the same issues as a sensor fault.

Anways. glad to learn something, and I'm glad they're working well for ya. We're running standalone on the only car we've used them on, so never noticed
