(I'm posting this mainly since when I was looking for how a Black Impreza might look with various rims I couldn't find too many Black Imprezas with rims to judge from.)

My old car was about to die so on 1/4/05 I went out and bought me a black w/ gold 05 STi. they next day I called Tire Rack to order some winter tires and SubyDude to order some rims for the winter tires. Since it's so late in the snow season my first 2 winter tire choices (Blizzak LM-22s or Dunlop Winter Sport M3 ) were both sold out so Luke @ the Tire Rack recommended a set of Pirelli Winter 210 SnowSports. I wasn't too keen on them but once I got them the tread looked good and they feel great driving them. Now I just need some snow for the real test! I ordered the tires and then called up SubyDude to see what was available. I was looking at the Rota Torques and the Boosts. I ended up ordering the Boosts in bronze since they were in stock and he could ship them out the same day. I got them about a week later (shipping from Cali to Maryland is slow ) and this Saturday I took them to a local place to get the tires installed, mounted, balanced, etc. The end result was for $59 I rolled out of the shop 30 minutes later with my new wheels on. I got home and took a couple of photos:















I'm VERY happy with them, I like the look of the Boosts a lot better than the rims that Tire Rack was offering for the same price. If I had more $ to spend I might have gotten some more $$$ rims but I'm perfectly happy with how they look and the price was right. everyone that's seen them likes them so much i might have to get another set for the summer tires. my friends don't seem to like the gold stockers... now if only the Rota SDR's came in 5x114.3

sure thing. i was planning on submitting photos of 'em on your gallery pages, i just hadn't gotten around to it yet. but sure feel free to use 'em. i'll try to take some more pics when it's not so freakin cold outside! i got the winter tires and rims installed just in time!

now get rota to release the SDRs in 5x114.3 so i can put them on my car. maybe i'll get a third set of rims for the track...
