Hi, I just joined your club!

Hi everyone, like the title says, I just joined your club. My name is Daniel and I drive a 98RS, and a civic . My brother and I have been building subaru rally cars for about 3 years and though I suck at driving them I do like to build them Here are some pictures of the car, this car is just for auto-x and daily driving, because if we mess this one up, we won't have the finances to get another one.
Enjoy!

stg2lgcy00: the s/c is both a pre fabbed kit and part custom. The stock kit creates a lot of turbulence so I had my engineer friends help me figure out a way to keep the air flowing smoother, by adding custom made brackets to direct the air flow, and shaving sharp corners in other places, so it's basically "ported" and polished. As far as numbers, never ran the 1/4 or the 0-60, but in the city I can put any WRX to shame. On the freeway I just kind of walk away from them nothing crazy though, unfortunately I have nothing on the STI on the freeway .
Hey super_mut, I don't ***** the rs25.com
and, thanks for the comments everyone!
Ohh, wait I forgot the mod list... It just goes on and on, but here are a few things from the top of my head: AGX Gas Shocks with springs, 22mm swaybars with bushings all around, light weight flywheel, clutch, cosmetic head gasket (I think thats what it's called) Some head work, LSD in the rear, 01rs trans axle, short throw shifter, SAFC-II, Knock guard, WRX fuel pump, light weight pulleys, after market fuel pressurizer, custom intake, m62 supercharger, 01RS radiator, equal length headers, high flow cat, STI engine and tranny mounts, all speakers amplified with 2 10s in the trunk, pioneer deck... and I'm sure I missed a bunch of stuff.

Could you possibly post a drive by video clip? I'm just really curious what it sounds like...

The only videos I have are from auto-x. I can make a video but I don't know how to upload it to the computer. The car sounds very deep, and unfortunatly loud as ****, which I don't like too much, atleast its not a high pitch sound When I get around to it, I'll install the brulin headers I have sitting in the garage and hopefully they'll make it quieter.

That's a very cool RS! Do you have any more info on the supercharger? Is it something you could install to a stock 2.5? Do you have a link? Thanks.

The S/C was originally a kit from roots, but they have gone out of business, and weren't able to keep up with the demand for these kits. They produced very few of them less then 30. But they were meant to be used on a stock RS block, and could run up to 12psi, with superchargers you can run a lot more boost w/o the need for an intercooler because they don't create nearly the same amount of heat as a turbo, so you can pack a lot more air into the combustion chamber with out worrying as much about knocking. There have been a few people who used the same supercharger but made a custom kit with an intercooler.
The best place to learn about these kits, and where you can get all the pieces is: http://www.capa.com.au/eaton_m62data.htm
Hope this helps
Daniel-
