Hahaha the best way to learn is the hard way, unfortunately. Thanks very much for your comments.

As for cost, take this build with a grain of salt - our buddy in CZ (with the blue car) owns a garage and buys used cars wholesale for parts and I get wholesale prices on performance stuff so that helps a lot.
