Yeah... How's that going?
As for tomorrow, I believe the STX/STU guys are running third. I don't think we'll start running until 11:30, and even possibly later. Can't wait for tomorrow. Just filled up half a tank of gas. Should be enough to get me to Golden Gate Field. I try to fill up the car the day before so that when I arrive on site, I have about half a tank left. Between 1/4 and half a tank. 6lbs a gallon. Haha.

you looked good out there yesterday, definetely out powered but everything seemed pretty clean. you should have seen us in the forester, it was rediculous. it was lowered and had some suspension mods, but we were running on 225/60/16 all seasons. but I managed to pull of a 51.4 something with no cones. what was your fastest time?
as for me, i have been working a bit with my mentor greg (roo) and a mechanic and from i can tell, we are running out of options so i might be transporting the car to LIC for awhile

To reflect on the course a little bit, I kind of had a difficult time grasping the course. In some of the turns, I went in a little too hot. In other places, I didn't quite grasp the situation with grip. I think they cleaned up the course a bit more when the afternoon rolled around. Anyways, all and all, nice event, nice weather, good people, and yeah. Oh... not to mention GOOD AIR!! Nice cleaner air. Haha.

Hi all.
So... just a few quick updates.
Firest, I'll be auto-x'ing at Candlestick on Sunday. Come by and check it out. I am running run group 4. I think we'll start running toward 11 or noon'ish. Definitely come out and hang with us.
Second, I am kind of working on a sponsorship proposal type of deal. I am kind of thinking of ways to fund auto-x'ing. Even a few dollars here and there can help out. I was thinking that I could sell ad space on the car for the season. Help pay for little things like lunch and gas.
Here is the package thing:

3. I am currently trying to save up money for rear brakes and lightweight batteries. I am going to try to do some extra things and save up for those two things. Brakes first, then battery later. I can't die a virgin... and if that changes before I get brakes... I am too young to die. A little humor for you peeps.
Look for me on Sunday at Candlestick!

Round 11 was great. It was kind of a funky course on a funky type of pavement. For some of you, who have never auto-x'ed at Candlestick before, you'll learn that the surface sucks (at least most of the time) and there is this weird elevation change at the end of the course. That was fun.
This round'ss course was pretty interesting. Off the line, you are met with a series of tight turns leading into a slalom. For this event, the slaloms were set up "national" style. Only the first cone was marked with a pointer and all the cones after that were not. There were two sets of these. At the back-side of the course was a pseudo box type of contraption leading into two fast sweepers. After the sweepers, it was a bunch of tight turns and then the finish. Really interesting course. I did a 72.240 +1, 70.642, and 69.320 +3. Not too shabby at all.
Thanks to Gagan for giving me tips and helping me set up the car. Hope you had a blast with the car.
