I am getting there. As soon as I get some parts in, I should be ready to go. Waiting on the front sway bar bushings. Going to change those suckers out. As for the lateral links. I am still trying to figure those out.

Does anyone know what the difference between the Whiteline KTA108 and KTA109? I know that one is for the wagon and one is for the sedan. The wagon is a slighty shorter width than the sedan. Just don't know how much.

My last post of the night. I contacted Whiteline in regards to the the KTA108 and KTA109 products. So here is the email they sent me.

John @ Whiteline:

Hi Kevin,

Thank you for your interest in Whiteline and Nolathane products.

The Rear control arm difference between the Impreza sedan and Wagon is
the Swaybar link mounting point. KTA108 link mounts are positioned
closer to the stub axle on the rear arm as apposed to the KTA109.

KTA107 replaces only the front control arm (on the rear) and is only a
toe adjustment.

If you have any further enquiries please don't hesitate to contact us.

Regards
John

Mike@GST also PM'ed me and said that he was able to use the KTA109 kit on the L just fine. Looks like I am good to go with that.

New toys coming soon. More like replacement parts. Going to be getting adjustable rear lateral links. Yay. Need to get those on. I hear it'll take me about 4 hours to do. Anyone want to help me put them on?

I picked up the parts from GST today.

Thanks to Mike, Greg, and GST for hooking me up. Should be fun to put on.

Here is the game plan.

1. Install Adjustable Lateral Links and Alignment
2. Install Bushings, Endlinks, SubFrame Bolts
3. Pay for Track Day
4. Brakes (Front)
5. Tires or a Tire (Someone recommended that I get a used set of RE070's)

I've pulled the rear sway bar. Initially, I thought I might have a problem with the mounting point for the rear sway bar, but I think it'll be okay. It seems that the mounting point is in the same place. I took a look under the car to see what tools I needed and it seems that I am needing a bigger socket.

I am thinking about doing this week, but it'll be pending to the weather and if anyone will be able to help me. Maybe tomorrow or Sunday.

Update:

I just dropped the check in mail for the track day in January. That is out of the way now. Now here are the things I need to do before the track day.

1. Install Lateral Links
2. Alignment
3. Fix hood - Does anyone have a set of EZ-outs?
4. Brakes
5. Tires

Going to be working on the lateral links on Sunday. Hopefully, it won't take too long. It may be a little difficult because the car will be jacked up instead of on a lift.

The links won't be hard. Be sure to set the length of the new links to match the length of the non-bent old ones.

Yeah. I don't expect them to be. I PB Blastered them the other day. Probably going to do it again tomorrow night or something. Hopefully, I won't run into any trouble. Right now... the exhaust is kind of in the way of the links on the left side, but I think we'll be able to slide in there.

So... I am kind of running into some trouble. When I attacked the long-a** bolt on the hub side of the lateral links, I get a popping sound. I know that the bolts should be torqued to 150ft-lbs or something like that. I don't know if the popping is normal or not. Anyways... it is dark, and I'll try to attack it tomorrow. I am going to ask around and see how much it'll run to have it installed. Might be easier for someone to install it while on the lift since the exhaust on the left side is in the way.

Haha. But that is because I had to replace a bunch of random parts.

Suspension because my shocks were gone.
Lateral links because my rear right wheel is being stupid.

That's really about it.

Just got back from having my rear fenders rolled. +1 for Bill (BumbleBee03) for sneaking me in at the last minute. For sure I can run 225's now. Fun, fun. I don't have any pics right now but I'll post them up when I do. Too tired, will update later.
