Shipping from Japan for some of the parts took months. The actual labor only took 3 weeks(2 weeks if you don't count that the bodyshop employee was out sick for a week in the middle). The front upper tie bar and radiator supports(headlight buckets) were the only structural changes made and the shop had that done in one day. The 4th of July was somewhere in that 3 weeks too so it sort of delayed things.

that's smarter and less work in my opinion. in fact, that could still be considered a bug-eye STi. the frame and platform is still the same, just the front end is different. now that makes me want to get an STi and convert it to my bug-eye front end.
