color choices

why is it that people tell me WR Blue is the most popular, when in "Members' Rides" seems like Black and White exceed over all..?

What is your opinion (based on what you've seen on the streets) of the most "popular" color?

Wrong forum for this question BUT...WRB is probably the most recognized Subaru color.

Don't have any stats on how many of each were bought but perhaps the black and white guys like to post pics more than the other color folks.

I've noticed more WRB on the streets. I own a WRB WRX but all the other ones i've seen are stock. Not modded out. Maybe people mod out the Blk and white ones more.

just my 2 cents

maybe more tuners (everyone on this site) buy black and white cars while, overall, more wrb's are bought by the general public.

i personally want a color that almost noone else has because i like to be unique .

In the San Jose Bay Area...this is what I see on the road (in this order of frequency):

1. Silver
2. Blue
3. White
4. Red (or shades of it)
5. Black

the reason why i have a hard time choosing between White/gold vs. Blue/gold is because they both look BEAUTIFUL when clean, and i like both. One Major problem why i dont want white is that, i cant see myself driving a white car.. and one major reason why i dont want Blue is that you can see scratches much easier.. I am in such a bind, and i hate bein' like this.. I guess ill just learn to deal with the fact that every car is going to get scratched whether its from rocks, or even drying my car. Overall, i love the Blue. and Hopefully by the end of this month ill order an 06' STi =D Thanks for all ur opinions.

btw, is there a prefered wax that you all recomend? I saw some new product which i can't remember the name, but it was from a company who sells this stuff to get rid of rust and what not crap from machinery. Used on airplanes, Marines, workshop..etc. anyone know of what im talkin about? its like CorosionX or somethin like that.. let me know. TIA
