beautiful. you painted the housings right? how do you think they'll look on my wagon?

Thanks. Yea, I painted the housing with a semi gloss paint. Probably used about 3-4 light coats just to make sure I didn't get drip marks. I also removed the orange triangle that went over the blinker and just replaced it with an orange bulb. I think it will look 100 times better on your wagon. I suggest that you paint the housing black like I did. Otherwise there is too much chrome in the headlight. What color wagon you have by the way?

oh yeh.. i was about to remove the front plate. do you get pulled over for that?

As long as you drive sanely I wouldn't worry about the front plate. Cops won't pull you over just for not having a front liscense plate even though there are many people on this board that say otherwise. Most likely it would just be a fix it ticket anyway. After you finish the headlight mod, post some pics for us!

mannnnn ive been pulled over JUST for no front plate. and JUST for tint too. its like u know why i pulled u over? no front plate. norcal cops are a$sholes. but yea nice headlights. im thinkin of doing that too but im scared of getting dust in them. On every one of my friends cars u can see the dust when they turn on the headlight or somtimes in the day light. They take hella precautions too.

dust?! eek. i'm bout to get a friend to do mine. hehe. giving him like 20 bucks cuz i also need to use his oven.
quick question....
what bulbs do i get?
and what paint(black)?
i don't want black. i just want to do like 2 thin coats of black to lessen the chrome. chrome on a black car is way too flashy for me.

how long did it take? personally... i think that the headlight mods are all the subarus need for exterior appearance. i'm starting to like my stock rims... except that they are tiny.
