you made a scoop ornament out of that bird!!

 

This seems to be commonplace with WRXs and STis. I had a bird charge my car and nail my driverside mirror when I was runnin' about 65 mph. I thought for sure there would be blood splattered all over the mirror, but nothing. Birdie just kinda hit the mirror and went straight up in the air. The mirror didn't suffer any damage, but it did end up "closing." Good thing it's one of those mirrors that pulls into the body.
