Calling for all Older Subaru Impreza Models year 2000 and before
i dont have my very own subaru yet but i will soon in about a week ahh i cant wait :P. I cant stand how the newer models look, how they changed the head. I'm tryign to find a 99 2 door wrx but so far i have no luck in finding one so i have finally decided to just but a year 2003 wrx and see what i can do to it. im planning to change the head back into the older look the boxy headlights . But any way hope everyone in i-club can post up pictures of any subaru models before the year 2000 here

OK so I am thoroughly confused. You'll have absolutley no luck finding a pre 2002 WRX unless you goto Europe or Japan or something. I don't think the wrx came out here till 2002 and thats the new GD body style.
Changing the "head" back into the old body style look will be very expensive. I have yet to see anyone try this. The 04's look a little boxier with the headlights but nothing close to the GC look.
Here's a pic of My GM6 it's a MY00 or year 2000 2.5RS which is the old body style. It is N/A but very fun so you may want to look into getting one if you're going mainly for looks of the front end.
Hope this helped some.

I wish there were 93-01 wrx's here....
How much money you looking to spend? Maybe you could find an older Impreza L used and build it up. Then you could do an engine/driveline swap from an older JDM WRX, then you would have your car you want

This is what mine currently looks like, a 97 L wagon with 17" 5Zigen Copse wheels powdercoated in black (only because the clear coat cracked and peeled), KYB AGX adjustable struts, intrax lowering springs, waist spoiler, custom catback exhaust, morrette replicas from ebay (yeah I know ) and that's about it.
Before and the reason the wheels are powder coated.

pic of mine from a while back. 99RS
now it sports a dent in the rear quarter panel. It was minding its own business sitting in a parking lot and another person wanted to get a closer look at it and then left.
Also needs a new front bumper. Gravel road fun equalled cracked front.
