That muddy one looks more like someone w/ a bucket had fun. The wheels and insides of the fenders are spotless!

I agree with WRX ISH, quite a few of these "showcar" Subies look like ricer crap. Just goes to show that any car can be made into an ugly monstrosity (look at that GREEN one!) with the wrong color of paint and too many stickers.

yeah i agree with you. doesn't look like it was from actual driving.
plus with those mudflaps that big, mud won't get spattered up the side of the car quite like that.

on a side note, if for whatever reason i decided to enter my car into a show, i would make sure it was covered in mud.

I don't think the mud is fake -- he probably hit the wheels with some water so that he wouldn't get the show floor muddy (something that wouldn't have made the exhibitors or event hosters happy). In any case, the muddy look won't win any awards, but looks like the real thing straight from the rally!
