I have been in Japan for the last year and I have paid this dealer a few visits to buy some parts for shipping back to the states.

I have seen cars such as the STi Type RA-R, STi S203 and S204. I made my last visit today in order to buy some rare parts. I had NO clue that the new Impreza was released yet in Japan.. But I talked to the same guy I always did, and he let me take it for a TEST drive!!! Response on this car is very good.. it was named the Impreza S-GT... Like I said I've been busy with school, so I have no clue what this model is.. guessing it might be the WRX in the States? But it was quick! Not as fast as the STi of course, but very nice boost...

The S-GT is the new name of the JDM WRX now. What did you think of the ride quality? Was it stiffer or softer than the previous years? There won't be any road test for the new WRX here for a few more weeks, that's why I'm asking.

 

the ride is a bit stiffer.. my dad has a wrx.. definitely dont get the 'floating' feelings on the highway.. accelorates MUCH smoother and feels much faster as well.. interior is superb (im not a HUGE fan of the exterior but it works i guess)

I'm sure the ride is stiffer not because it's a new model, but because manufacturers usually have stiffer suspension for JDM cars (due to the fact that they tend to track them more often).
