yea, i was suggested the Canon 17-40 mm f/4 L USM EF Lens and have heard nothing but good. but i was actually looking at lenses from sigma tonight. i still have a lot of learning to do on which lens is right for me. but i have heard a lot of good when it comes to these lenses. but i might go with your suggestion in looking into sigma...depends how patient i can be on saving. haha

Beautiful man. I just got an 07 WRX in Black for my first car. I cant wait to start modding it out. I rock a Canon 30D with a 24-85mm, 70-200mm Tele, and a 100mm Macro; all Canon Lenses. I was looking at getting a fisheye. I may have to take a look at that 15mm

im shootn wit a cannon 5D and i use the 17-40mm lens VERY often..although expensive its crystal clear, and just gorgeous. honestly it was worth every penny. sigma makes great lenses for a reasonable price, i use a sigma 20mm set zoom, wit an fstop of 1.8 for night shots....but it all comes down to what kinda photographer you are...wideangle junkie? cannon 30D and lower dont use a full frame sensor, so what you see in the viewfinder is not necessarily what youd get on the pic. so to get some distortion a fisheye lens would be needed...all trial and error, good luck with the search...careful cars and cameras are a bottomless money pit

yea, i guess i would say mostly i do mostly wide angle shots. im going to try to be patient and go for Canons 17-40mm...but i did find Sigmas 17-70mm F2.8-4.5 DC Macro Lens and it seems pretty descent, but then again, i dont really kno enough about em make that call if its good or not. im just tired of the 18-55mm kit lens and want somethin better now! lol
