... i dont know why there are so much hate on hondas. It's not the car. Any civic can be made into a clean ride, and even a fast one right if u know what your doing. It's the owners that make a lot of hondas into the stereotype that we hate. don't go on categorizing a whole car make just because you depise the lil ricers around your neighborhood.

Unfortunately, not everyone can afford a $24,000 car (or $18,000 used) with their lifestyle. So some others may choose to go with a cheaper alternative that is just as fun to mod and drive, and more economical as well. You can do a lot of good on a cheap $7000 B-series car and still maintain 30mpg and low insurance costs. Modding is all subjective to the owner and then critic, and while there are those who just can't get it right, there are those who can as well. Don't generalize everyone into one category based on the car they chose (or had to) purchase. I had a GSR for 5 years and I loved it, until it got stolen and I was able to move up to a WRX. I never got hated on because I drove a reliable and fun car, nor did anyone question my sexuality.

I had a '97 GSR and a Del Sol with GSR swap. They were cheap, reliable and comfortable. Both had bolt-ons and both were pretty quick. Alot of Honda/Acura owners are tools BUT the eclipse,neon,240sx,300zx crowds are no different. They are all cheap for an older model so a young kid can afford one and those kids have a tendency to do stupid things. I have seen some people in WRXs or STIs that need to get kicked in the head and pissed on but I don't hate the Subaru community.
