Tell me what you guys think... I have been dreaming up this idea for months now and one week I had 100 extra bucks, so I threw it together. Sounds awesome and the full size spare is sweet looking, imo.

OH, I know the plastics are a different color, flick me sh*t all you want. I am dreaming up a way to make them look better, the rest of my interior is black/suede, except for the front seats, Corbeaus in a few weeks.... I am done rambling.

looks good man. excellent choice on the wheels. I bet you could even put a sub under the wheel or just cover it up.

I thought about doing the sub under the wheel, but in order to get the right amount of airspace for a 12" sub the wheel would have to be too high, or the amount of labor to create a cutout for the wheel would be so great, it just wouldnt be worth it.

Thanks for the compliments guys, glad to see people like it. Anyone in the area want one? I am definetely willing to make a few.

how much airspace did you end up getting with that? mounting depth of your 12"? looks nice, man.

Well the box actually looks like this
Name: box1.jpg
Views: 14
Size: 33.2 KBThe mounting depth of the sub is just right for the box, about 6 1/2" the magnet has about 1/2" clearance from the back of the box. Also the space is about 2500 cubic inches, give or take. I just took the airspace of my original box, just a cookie cutter one from Car toys, and then made this one fit the size. The tone is great, and it hits even harder. The cool thing was, I was going to resin the inside if it didn't sound good, but it hits even harder than my previous box. This little 300 watt amp and 12" mtx setup is a nice little setup in the subie wagon, it sounds so good. As for under the spare, I need to get a circle cut out and it wrapped so it finishes the job, I just wasnt sure about doing it before.
