Ok, so, I've decided to just settle for an 07. None of the 05s were showing any interest in swapping.
I'll let you know if we can use your help. As soon as I find out when Muniz wants to get this done and if we need your help, I'll let you know.
Hey VladiWrX, I would have just taken your trunklid if it wasn't for the imperfections you said you had on it.
I just sent you a PM. I'm ready to swap with you if you're still in town.
if youre swapping from the sti trunk to a wingless. you might want to also swap the rear decks so you can also get the third brake light.
if you dont swap the rear decks you wont have a hole to cleanly attack the third brake light, and the formerly wingless owner will have a hole where the third brake light went. to swap the rear decks you will have to remove the rear seats, seatbelts , b pillars and after that it pops out.
I've done the swap a couple times so if you need any help let me know.
i'm located in san jose.
by the way I traded my sti trunk about a month ago so its very fresh how to swap trunks,torsion bars, locks, and decks .

Nope. The one chance I had to trade was for a wingless 07 trunklid. I was being picky cause I wanted a on 05 (I didn't want the center badge on the trunklids of the 06/07), but unfortunately that person is out of state cause of the Air Force.
So at this point, I'm willing to take any 05-07 trunklids that don't have a scratch or dent.

Is the '07 center badge not taped on like the WRX and Impreza badges? Is so, why not just get the '07 lid and remove the badge? If not... sorry, what do I know

Can anyone with an 06/07 confirm? Or better yet, anyone with an 05-07 OBP trunklid like to trade so I can confirm
