What's up guys,
Looks like no one was interested in trading catbacks for my GT-Spec, so now I'm looking to buy a Borla Hush. Let me know if you have one and how much.
Thanks!
Aaron

I'd possibly be interested... does the Cobb have a resonator in the midpipe? The reason I ask is because I have a header and without a resonator in the catback, it sounds a bit raspy. I can post pics tonight. My GT Spec does not have any scratches on it. It's a bit dirty, but can be cleaned/polished up. It angles slightly to the left and I don't have a silencer, but may be able to get one if needed.

Hi,
No, the cobb does not have a resonator.
If you are worried about noise, cobb says that it will max at 95dB. So I think it might be 95dB without cat and maybe with headers. I don't really know for sure though.
Here is someone with a full-race equal pulse length header and a cobb exhaust.

dunno if that helps, but I am interested.

Hi Andrew,
Thanks for posting the links. The Cobb catback is definitely a nice piece, but the raspyness that I'm referring to is in the first video at 1:18 and 18sec. in the second. Yes, on the GT Spec where the midpipe meets the downpipe, the flange tapers. At this point, I'll have to hold off on trading. Sorry... I'm just a little **** because I had a Stromung (very similar to the Cobb) in the past and it had that raspyness that drove me crazy... especially when the engine was cold. If the Cobb had a resonator, I'd trade with you in a heartbeat.
