WTS: 760$ in Target giftcards (300$ + $300 + $160)
Originally bought giftcards to purchase the Galaxy Note 4 but Target is making it difficult and I'm getting different stories on whether they can sell it unactivated or not.
Just don't want to deal with it anymore so I need to get rid of the giftcards.
I'll take $710 if someone wants to buy all three cards from me.
Or else it'll be:
$290 for the $300's
$150 for the $160

I think you'll be hard pressed to get near face value for gift cards, just saying.
I don't know what to call them, but some stores, like the kind that sell prepaid phone cards and the like, will give cash for them, but again, at a cut rate.

And what de_engineered said, unless you can find someone that's planning a large purchase at that same store and doesn't mind a little hassle for a little discount...you will need to seriously discount those cards.
GLWS regardless

And OP, looks like you didn't just join yesterday so I'm not too suspicious, and not that I'm accusing anyone of anything, but flipping gift cards is usually a money laundering hustle
Why did you purchase gift cards to make a purchase at the same store?

I understand the suspicion.
I bought the giftcards during black Friday. Since there was no direct discount on the phone, I bought the giftcards to buy the phone so I could save a little bit of money. Not trying to launder money or anything illegal, just purely attempting to get savings where I could. I fully regret it now since I didn't know at the time I could not return giftcards and I had no idea it would be so hard to buy the phone.
One store told me yes they could sell it to me unactivated only to go in and being denied without reason or one they would not disclose. Another store told me they couldn't sell the phone until 3 months after the phone releases. January would be 3 months after it released so I tried again and they're telling me they can't sell unactivated ones and I would need to sign a new contract. And I don't want to sign a new contract since that would mean I lose my current phone plan.
Sign... I fully regret getting these giftcards and not doing a thorough research. Now I just want to get rid of them instead of trying to slowly spend $760. LOL.
TL;DR - Bought GC during BF, unable to purchase phone since Target says they won't sell unactivated.

If you're in california, and have a receipt for the gc then you are allowed to return these for the value the gc. If denied, call the corporate office and state that you're in California.
