Are you sure you don't mean a vf39 without cracks is a dreamer???? Obviously you don't get around much. They're out there, just gotta be at the right place at the right time. I've only been looking for a few days and I've seen a few throughout the web but they're sold within minutes.

No I mean a VF48. I'm standing here looking at three of them, all of them with cracks, one only has 7500 miles on it. All the cracks are in the same place, right by the waste gate.

I even walked over and made sure I hadn't been sucked into a vortex and got confused but those 48's...yeah....and the one I'm holding right now is off of my car and it has a hair line crack in it also....

Thanks man, I guess he didn't realize that when you're in a repair shop you're gonna see broken parts laying around.

I'm working with Mike at GST Motorsports, one of the best and most experienced tuners on the planet, and he recommended a 48 because they're the least likely to crack.

BTW I need to use an OEM STi turbo to stay in Street Prepared.

I have a VF48 on my 04 wrx...I bought mine with 7,000 miles from an 2010 STi and I personally put maybe 5,000 and I had my smog due today so I had to put my stock downpipe back in...while putting it in...I was curious to see if there were any cracks and top my luck, there wasn't any....I guess its random...sometimes you get unlucky. I've seen some crack with less than 5-7k. I might consider parting my build depending if I can sell everything for the right price, pm me if you're interested.
