Well it's supposed to be cheaper since it's just an axle back. No, i live in san jose currently, but i used to live in Australia. I changed my location back.

Oh ok. The borla hush should be an axle back too. But I think it connects to a 3" downpipe to it'd be more expensive, like you said, if you had to replace your downpipe.

borla hush axle back doesn't have a flange to connect to a stock midpipe.

Yup. But a Borla Hush will mate to a 2.5'' DP.
