I personally would not run a 2nd hand clutch.

X2 that. Plus OEM clutch is well capable if stg2 powers. And is easier on the 5mt trans.

Thanks for the info guys. I'm thinking about the Excedy OEM spec clutch. Any thoughts?

I just got the exedy OEM clutch and flywheel and broken in.. read somewhere that they don't recommend resurfacing the flywheel so ya.. just broken in and holds the power well.. I'm running a vf setup

Please give me a good reason you wouldn't run a second hand clutch if its in good condition, other than some girly nonsense about "it just doesn't feel right broz".....

....That said I'd probably recommend the OEM replacement as well if you're not pushing big power.

I'm planning on running a stage 2 tune some day, but happy enough right now with the TP Stage 1 tune

but true, as long as it's in good condition. I ran the exedy replacement on my vf39 making 283/323. And it held totally fine. 20k+ miles.

Exactly, and when I took it out it was almost new. That's exactly my point - there's nothing wrong with second hand clutches as long as they're still mint and not overheated or abused.
