My sis-in-law's 2.5i had a blow out & a bubble-on-sidewall on another. I tried to convince her to just get a brand new set of BETTER tires, but she's a little tight on cash now. She's rolling on 2 donut spares now.

I know it's a long shot, but if you have a pair (2) of Bridgestone Potenza RE92A OEM MY06-10 2.5i tires w/ 20k miles or less laying around in the garage & want to get rid, please let me know. Not looking to buy another set of wheels or tires... just a pair (2) of tires.

i'll check the stockers i have in the garage when i get home this evening. i know two were in bad shape but if i remember correctly, the other two were o.k.

 

just checked and i've got one in good condition (one that i had changed out recently). the other however is not as good. i would say the difference is within 2/32" but that is just my guestimate using a dime to compare the depth. let me know if you are interested.

 

Are these stockers from your 05 wrx? If yes, I believe they are RE92, not RE92A that I'm looking for. Thanks anyway.

 

i got re92a sitting on my 08 2.5i stockers. Tires are yours FREE under 1 condition. you get all four paid to be removed :-) other then that you dont gotta pay me anything. lemme know if thats cool. im pretty sure i have 2 that are good but pm me if you like the idea and ill hit up my storage to confirm.

you're right, i have plain 92's. didn't catch the "a."

 

 

Try hitting up craigslist and ebay. It's a pretty common tire and there are bound to be a ton of them around....as bad as they are, they just won't go away.
