WTB Battery for 05sti
Well I managed to leave my lights on and drain my battery a couple times in the past few months, have had it recharged and all was good till today. The battery seems to be loosing its charge slowly and is only reading 7v and wont start my car so I think it's done.
So if anyone has a battery for sale let me know otherwise I will go to the stealership unless you folks have any suggestions on a non oem replacement.
I also was curious about the AP map loaded on my car right now, will I have to reload it after installing a new battery? Anyway your guys's advice is always good so let me know.TIA

I have a working battery that I no longer need since I replaced it with a mini battery. It was taken out at around 54k miles. Original OEM battery. Its been sitting in the garage for three weeks now. I'll let it go for really cheap if you're interested.

I have an OEM battery off an 04 STI. I know it needs a charge as it sits now and I can't speak to how much life it has left, but it's free if you want to give it a shot. Sunnyvale in the evenings, Santa Clara during the day.

Well these guys seem to have you covered as far as the battery goes, but I'll answer your AP question.
The realtime (temporary map) you had loaded (if any) will be gone, as with any learning the ECU has done. However, your base map (stage whatever) will still be there). If your engine is healthy you can do the accelerated learning procedure (I don't remember the exact steps) or just wait for it to relearn over the next few hundred miles/tank of gas. Until the ECU has relearned everything, you may notice a slightly less responsive throttle and loss of a slight bit of power. It may also all be psychological
