WTB: ATV for light off road use, open to suggestions

Hey so short story my dad recently bought some property in lake county and we want an atv to tool around in because the truck is sometimes too big/bulky

Nothing crazy we are novice riders so something easy and reliable to get used to and then maybe upgrade...don't know anything about it so open to any and all suggestions

Thanks in advance

easy, polaris scrambler. its 500cc,fully automatic, sporty yet will go anywere and can be found dirt cheap. i take mine to pismo(i have 3 of them) and they have racks so deer season is fun too.

stay away from small bore sport quads. at a min find a 400ex. they are only 2wd but will never die lol. and most sport quads dont have reverse.

theres a guy selling a 2001 scrambler500 w/front and rear racks, exhaust and clucth kit for 1900 in clear lake.

heres a couple pics of my scrambler. my wifes is blk/pink and a yellow spory 2wd(its a 400cc 2 stroke that rapes modded banshess)
my red one pictured has a pipe, filter, jet kit, clutch spring setup. it weighs in at over 500lbs BUT smoke my friends 2005 ltz400 w/power bomb and jet kit. it does about 70mph and was a beast in over 5ft of snow.

May want to look into something like a Polaris Ranger. It's more like a small 4x4 pickup truck (seats multiple people) and a bed to hall stuff if you are doing any sort of work on your properly.

I have a Polaris Raptor 500. It's plenty of power and it is a blast to ride. Being a novice I wouldnt suggest it but the Polaris ATVs are pretty awesome! but I've ridden Yamahas and Hondas as well and they all seem to be pretty good. I think a 300 or 350 would be around a good size. Not too small that you will grow out of quickly but not big enough to make you **** yourself the first time you ride. loll. Good luck!

Ranger may be too utilitarian but I do like the bed..

Scrambler may be an idea as well
