Wtb asap: Ac compressor for my 02
just found out that my compressor is dead. i really need one so bad but the dealerships are asking too much $$$$$$.
dunno if they're all the same for all years so lemme know what you have.

they tend to be much cheaper than the dealer and thats where I got my power steering pump too

Any year does not fit, because the hose fitting are different. Found that out when I did my swap. The Spec C compressor was much smaller, and fit perfect but come to find the hoses that are on the car don't match to the compressor
You may also consider you leaked out all of the Freon.

When you turn the car on, look at the compressor the outside pulley should be spinning very fast. If it is not then either A. You have a massive leak somewhere B. You need a new compressor.
I am guessing if a new (used) compressor would run you like 40-50 bucks that would be a viable way to figure out if you that was the problem. If not, it is like 200 per line if it has a leak. I learned the hard way LOL

first off go to kragens and buy those r134 refill/recharger things that has the dye in it. once you do that, see if you can find a leak anywhere. more then likely its a bad o-ring somewhere on the a/c lines. and a new oem compressor is about 500 dollars

here just checked on our dealers online website. its 543.87 list and is discounted 402.46 for online customers. maybe you should double check your research before you say anything about me.
