Any year does not fit, because the hose fitting are different. Found that out when I did my swap. The Spec C compressor was much smaller, and fit perfect but come to find the hoses that are on the car don't match to the compressor

You may also consider you leaked out all of the Freon.

I tried filling it with r134 but the pressure won't hold and won't turn cold..don't really know whts wrong so I'm guessing the compressor..

When you turn the car on, look at the compressor the outside pulley should be spinning very fast. If it is not then either A. You have a massive leak somewhere B. You need a new compressor.

I am guessing if a new (used) compressor would run you like 40-50 bucks that would be a viable way to figure out if you that was the problem. If not, it is like 200 per line if it has a leak. I learned the hard way LOL

Dude, I don't think it's your compressor. I'm gonna say it's your "Expansion Valve". Cost you $20 at any auto parts store. I would do that first before replacing anything else.

first off go to kragens and buy those r134 refill/recharger things that has the dye in it. once you do that, see if you can find a leak anywhere. more then likely its a bad o-ring somewhere on the a/c lines. and a new oem compressor is about 500 dollars
