I dont modify the stock uppipe, the flex section on the stock uppipes is right where i use the tube notcher to drill the hole. Plus the factory uppipes are pretty crappy, if you have ever seen one without the heat shields on.
I have a gms uppipe here thats brand new that has been spoken for yet, that i could modify. or you could find an uppipe and send it to me.

do it Never Slip'N', Kelly does some really nice work, just check out his thread on nasioc. i plan to have him do a ewg set-up on my car here pretty soon.
hey Kelly, does the gms uppipe your talking about stand for grimmspeed? cause that's the one i have and plan to have you modify it for my set-up, the flex joint on the grimmspeed isn't in your way is it?
thanks, chris

GMS gimmick motorsports, or thats the acronym ive seen used tossed around. I will actually be producing my own uppipes here fairly soon, just sent in the cad files and got all my quotes back for the cnc flanges, etc...going to do something different than all the rest of the companies out there, should be really nice when its all put together. Then if my rotated setup I made does well, then that will go produced as well But anyways...back to the subject.
The grimmspeed flex joints are at the bottom so they are out of the way. Generally most uppipes can be modified except the stock one, and some of ebay style uppipes where they put the flex in the top/middle section.

Well your welding is awesome man. Let me see if I can do that much, I know it's worth it I was just trying to buy a used setup for cheap so I can still swing the Dom 3. If I go this route (new EWG) then I have to stay with the 20g for a minute. I just might have to do that. Thanks for the offer and I will let you know in a few days which way I will go.
