If someone is into purchasing all the sensors (that wouldn't even be functional) or modifying and spending a bunch of money to block up sensor holes, cams, etc...or use the cam gears, etc... sure it physically fits in the engine bay. This is not the correct application/parts for the 04-07 STi. Wouldn't make a whole lot of sense to do that. But if someone wants to buy it and do that, I'm ok with it.
This is just a long block thats for sale...no sensors, covers, hardware, etc...

My engine is questionable right now. For the low miles it doesn't seem like to much work to block the e-AVCS.
As far as the sensors go. What needs to be blocked? I'm guessing the cam position sensors on the exhaust side. Can they be blocked with GD-STI cam position sensors? I should be able to use the rest of my sensors and my wire harness and covers and hardware just like stock.
If I'm grossly incorrect, please let me know so I can think about another path of repair.

yes you could use your top avcs intake sensors but would need lower avcs ones, all the block off plates, gaskets, hardware, cam gears, etc...and then you need to make it non dual avcs (for your application). as stated before, yes its all doable... doesn't seem worth it to me though
