Oh wow haha. So now one dent in the pipe of a certain length is the same as a reduction in diameter all the way down the pipe? Haha please insert full retard gif now.
Oh and here's the dyno you asked for.
That's the difference between a 2.25'' exhaust and a 3'' exhaust.
From this link - 2008 WRX Sedan Stage 2 & 3 Dyno Tuning and Intake! » PERRIN Performance Official Blog
That's a .75'' difference, or about 1.9cm.
Certainly a difference in power.
And you said your dent was about 4cm? That certainly won't have an effect now will it...

A brand new, fully functional Invidia N1 is $582 at RSD.
Nobody in their right mind would pay anything close to that for a used, busted up version of that same exhaust. Even if it does make the car 0.6% lighter.

Did you really need me to explain that to you?
It is the same exhaust. Just a different material used. There's no physics to it Lol. The only difference between the two is weight and possibly a different tone.
If you would like to tell me how there are physics involved with 2 exhausts of the same design then be my guest.

My apologies phone glitched and didn't show your old post on the first page. One is made of titanium and one is stainless steel. 2 different metal composites. You've never seen titanium exhausts? They're away more expensive and sound different. Were you able to read the FB thread?

You guys are arguing opposing points here... Both have some merit, but both are flawed.
Full titanium exhaust is baller ****. It ain't cheap. It's super light. It has better thermal properties than stainless, like much higher melting point, therefore (theoretically) it would hold the heat in better, increasing exhaust velocity... More power... However small the number is...
Now, all that said, the few small dents won't make a bit of difference, but that big *** crease/fold will. It literally looks smashed in half which would dramatically effect the flow. OP maybe if you were to post pics of different angles of the smashed area we could better assess it...
It's a dope exhaust, but it's damaged pretty bad...
If you wanna buy it, do so... If not, stop bashing the FS thread.

Could always have it cut and rewelded but then kinda ****s up the point of buying it cause its full titanium.
