TW: 1996 Miata M-Edition w/ new motor, clutch, and top

Hey guys,

TW: $3,800 OBO

I'm thinking about selling my '96 Miata M-Edition. It has about 170k miles on the body and less than 10k on the new engine and clutch.

You can find what the car comes equipped with from the factory here: 1996 Miata M-Edition - specs and features

Highlights:
- 1.8 engine (as opposed to 1.6 from pre '94 Miatas)
- Torsen Limited-Slip Differential (somewhat rare in Miatas)
- ABS Brakes
- Airbags
- Leather Seats with speakers in headrest (at least I think this is cool!)

Maintenance Highlights: (I'll make another post with the full list)
- New engine from Japan, swapped by United Auto in Fremont @ 167k mi (more info on what is swapped along with the engine in the next post)
- New Exedy OEM Clutch @ 167k
- Newish top with glass rear window
- Newish Tires (Kumho Ecstas and Falken Ziex)
- New front brake pads and rotors
- Flyin' Miata Front/Rear Sway Bars
- Bosch E-Code Headlights (MUCH improved over stock headlights)
(see my whole maintenance list on the next post)

The Bad:
- Salvaged Title (supposedly from a minor accident that cause implications on the cooling that led to engine problems)
- Hole on the driver side leather seat
- Passenger side power window is a little slow (but it works!)

Overall, the car is excellent to drive with the new engine and clutch and the exterior/paint looks really good. Feel free to ask any questions. I'm located in San Leandro.

Pictures! Pardon the bugeye photo bombing!

Nice car and great price! The new engine alone is also worth the asking price of the car. Good luck with sale.
