i called up tony for a quote on 2 fuzion zri's and he said they were about $124 or so a tire. I then asked for the groupbuy discount and he said "then add $19 to tirerack's prices". It came to be $112 a tire. So my question is, does the 25% off groupbuy discount not apply anymore? Shouldn't it be $124+25% off = $93 a tire?

yea dude..this guy/the people there are not being consistent and ive went through hell talking to him/them more than enough times. but i was there today to get things cleared. whatever is retail at wheelworks (on the computer) you can get 25% off, or he will do better than any price you find. he claims if you talk to him, he will give you the best price you will find. lets just hope what he says is right. im sorry for the confusion.

ok i called tony back and asked him what's the deal with the 25% off thing since 25% off of the original $124 is about $93 or so. I asked him shouldnt 25% off tires be cheaper than going through tirerack's prices + $19 ($93+19=$112) and then he said "no... it's 25% off of the total... including labor and stuff" I was like ok... i thought it was 25% off of the tires.

So I'm a little skeptical about this whole groupbuy deal but I will probably find out saturday what's up as I might drop by.

it took forever today....i called wheelworks and i believe i talked to the boss or manager yesterday and he confirmed to me that if i went in the morning they would have the tires in....well they didnt..it took them a little over an hour to recieve it. but im im not too mad...i got to miss school =]

okok so i dropped by today cuz i need new tires. i asked about the s03's and...the 225/45/17 was $223.99 wheel works price, and $172 tirerack price. they said the they need to add $19 to the wheel works which makes it $191 each, and they wont give me 25% off on that. so after the $223.99 x 4 tires and tax it came to like $730 -$100 mail in rebate.

im not sure if i was sopposed to get 25% off the tirerack price + $19 or what? or has anyone gotten these 4 tires for cheaper by pricematching?
