I wish I knew how rotary engines worked and how to work on them. I think I'll pick up a book. Nice looking car though! Good luck!

This is just one suggestion for a book on Rotary engines.

Thanks guys! (my car) .
The engine is in amazing shape it looks like and drives good.
I can go as low as 3500, that's cheap for the condition it is, just those small parts it needs eventually. clutch is still fine now just might need one later on. Those bushings would be good ot get though just to eliminate the noise from rear that happens sometimes.

NOT MINE...JUST PASTING
I have a white 1986 Mazda RX7 GXL model with 127,600 miles. CLEAN title
Body and paint is in great shape. 1 minor dent in one of the rear quarter panels but nothing bad.
This car has been super reliable for me and has never left me stranded anywhere.
This past summer I drove it cross country and back. CA to FL and then 1 month later back to CA.

It's a GXL model so it has a sunroof and power mirror/windows which both works. (passenger side window can only be controlled from the driver side button)
GXL's came with a LSD as well
Aftermarket alarm! Blue leather interior(1 rip in driver seat but not too bad, I was going to stitch it up)
Aftermarket stereo deck with usb connecter in front, ipod/iphone ready.
New speakers.
KYB AGX adjustable struts with eibach springs all around.
I also have another pair of struts and adjustable springs I will throw in with the car, you can control the height more with them and lower the car if you'd like.
15 inch BBS rims (form convertible FC's) with good tires all around.
S5 tail lights (the 2 round circles) look much nicer.I'll give you the older S4 lights with car as well.
Turbo 2 spoiler
Tint
Do it yourself front lip.
New shifter bushings.
K&N air filter
floor mats

The car is in very good shape and I try to baby it. One of the cleanest FC's I have seen around.
Engine is running strong, always do oil changes on time with Royal purple. No oil leaks.
Recently did a coolant system flush and drained and refilled the transmission fluid.
Selling it because I need money badly and probably going to pick up a cheaper car. Hate to see this car go after everywhere it has taken me but I want it to go to a good new home.

CONS:
Eventually needs a new throwout bearing or clutch. The car drives and shifts fine, just recently started to make a squeal sound when you downshift into 2nd gear and sometimes 3rd, or when you go in reverse.
The differential bushings are going out as well, so sometimes when you shift or floor it you hear noise from the rear. These (Drop Engineering B-RX7-86DI Differential Bushings Mazda | eBay)
The plastic center console surrounding has some cracks in it, NO cracks in the dashboard though!
The car has driven fine even with these minor problems, and i'm sure will run fine for awhile longer just eventually needs the above things.
It is a super fun car and get plenty of looks how it is, these cars are getting more rare.

Asking 4000 OBO, Feel free to email me or call/text (prefer text) me if you want to set something up to see it or have any other offers, no joy rides. 707-696-5645.
