What about smog?? Has it been smogged or are you having it smogged if and when the car is sold?? That is my concern for now, also what kind of mileage do you think you will get normally?? I know it is hard, but if you have a rough estimate it would be nice. Considering all the cars I have had are Daily Drivers, no point in letting something this nice sit in the garage waited to be played with.

No smog required at this point.

Mileage never checked..pretty close to stock if you stay off the bosot IIRC.

As far as I know, california requires a vehicle smog at time of resale. Even on a brand new car. Can anyone confirm this?

Well Mark, it may be a good idea to disclose what it would take to smog this. It would suck imo to have a mess on my hands next year when smog time comes.

Certainly a nice car no doubt.

Are you sure?

I am pretty sure that in the process of ownership changing hands a smog must be completed within 90 days.

I know with new vehicles it's 6 years now for smogs but I don't think that applies when the vehicle transfers hands.

anyone have the law statement that says if it's a newer than 4 year car it's not necessary. If so post it up. It'll help Mark move the car.

Either way. Hell of a car. Hell of a deal. Might not be a bad idea to just stick a stock motor in there so it passes smog. Offer the car up for sale with the other motor as a package...or sell it on the side and make more money.

Bump for a clean car and a nice pricetag.
