This Oil Cooler kit was introduced to the public after testing several iterations on Brian Lock's USTCC race car in the deserts of Arizona. The stock WRX and STi lack an oil cooler and running any turbo charged motor hard puts an extreme load on the motor's cooling systems and fluids. Keeping your oil cool not only prolongs the life of your oil but more importantly, it prolongs the life of your motor. This is one of the most overlooked upgrades on the WRX / STi and we feel that anyone who drives their turbocharged vehicle hard should have one. Perhaps that's why the Spec. C comes with an oil cooler from the factory. This oil cooler is track tested on a race winning vehicle and data logs show that it works. *Wiseco 0.5mm over pistons – We use Wiseco forged pistons in our staged engine packages. Wiseco pistons are good for over 700HP. The 0.5mm overbore is designed to those of you that have had ringland or piston failures – you will need to re-hone your cylinder walls. If you require stock bore or 1.0mm overbore, they are available for an additional $50.

*Helix 2.0 forged connecting rods - These rods are sourced from a very famous Japanese tuner (once you see the rods you will know, JDM wholesale is over $500 for the rods alone). Helix took these rods and upgraded them to the strongest rod bolts ARP offers – the L19. Based on engineering principles and testing, the decision was made to use the stronger L19 rod bolts because of the high revs these 2.0 motors often see. After installing the stronger rod bolts, the rods are magnafluxed and re-tested to ensure reliability. These rods are good for 9000 RPM operation** .

*Gruppe-S Sport Bearings – Higher performance than the Subaru OEM bearings, we are offering the Gruppe-S sport bearings. They are equivalent to the JDM STI Spec C bearings, and can withstand high RPM operation. Sorry we are not offering our coated race bearings at this time.

This kit normally retails for over $1100 at our everyday low prices. Buying the stock cast parts from the dealer will cost you more than $1100. We have two kits at this price.

Gruppe-S Stage 1 USDM STi Longblock - $3999 + Shipping (built to order)

We have one blown STi motor that we will be rebuilding into one of our stage 1 longblocks (balanced, forged Wiseco pistons, coated race bearings, etc.). This longblock will be capable of holding 535 crank HP consistantly and will drop into any WRX or STi easily. Build time will be ~3 weeks and a 50% deposit will be required. Gruppe-S 2.2L Stroker Kit for EJ20T - $1399 + Shipped

These are all the parts needed to build a 2.0L turbocharged motor (WRX or JDM STi) into a serious power making 2.2L stroker motor. This motor should be capable of holding 550 crank HP while revving to 7500 RPM if properly balanced. It includes the following:

Gruppe-S 2.5L Stage 1 Shortblock - $2599 + shipping

Our Stage 1 shortblock replaces the components we feel are most likely to fail in the USDM STi shortblock. This is essentially a bulletproof USDM STi shortblock and will compliment a GT30R, SZ55, FP Red , FP Green, or TD06-20G sized turbo nicely on 100 octane. WRX owners can benefit from this shortblock also since their heads will bolt right onto it; however, combining their heads with something like the Helix cams and valvetrain and this shortblock would yield something with peak power output similar to the USDM STi. In comparison to other companies' Stage 1 shortblocks, our adds coated race bearings and balancing to within 1 gram (JDM STi motors are balanced to within 7 grams).
