Mio c310x Portable GPS
What's up BAIC?
For sale I have a Mio c310x portable GPS/MP3 Player with a 3.5 inch screen. It is a basic GPS unit that will provide turn by turn voice prompts. It has TONS of points of interests including banks, restaurants, gas stations, etc.
There is also a map update disc available for the unit so that you won't be left with old maps. Currently, this has the original map software uploaded. The disc is less than $20, but honestly, I never really needed it because I knew the general direction of where I was headed and the unit helped me out more than enough so I never got lost. If you ever miss a turn, no worries, it will automatically reroute you to get back on track.
Apparently this unit is "hackable" meaning you can turn it into a portable video player as well as an MP3 player. I personally have never tried to hack it but feel free! When hacked, this is what you can do with it:
* Play movies
* Add voices
* Edit and plan POI’s on your PC
* Play games
* Install TomTom or other nav software
o The general opinion is that MioMap is better than TomTom
* Use ActiveSync
* Access the Windows CE environment
* Change skins

One thing that is missing currently but not lost is the car charger. I can't seem to find it at this point but i'm sure it's somewhere around here. I'll see if i can find it though... Worst comes to worse, you can always buy a charger for less than $15 online. Sometimes, even the regular cell phone chargers will work at the right voltage.
I am willing to sell this unit for $150obo. It was barely used as I already have a Pioneer Avic D3 installed so I don't really need this and has been collecting dust in my closet for a LONG time. Please do not low ball as this is already in excellent condition. This is for Pick up only and I am located in Rohnert Park 94928.
