JOB: IT Manager & Sys Admin Position (SOMA)
Don't say I never showed any love for i-club....
In addition to my Admin role, I am looking for a IT Manager and Sys Admin. The guy I have now is not working out.

Senior Sys Admin / IT Manager Role
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Desktop, server, and network support on the following platforms: Windows desktop/laptop, Windows Server (2003/2008), Linux server (RedHat), and VMware ESXi.
- Network management and configuration of wired and wireless networks, remote access and point-to-point VPN, and firewalls.
- Be willing to learn new technologies quickly to respond to wide variety of supported platforms.
- Be flexible and able to quickly synthesize new information and provide direction to internal and external users.
- Work with cross-functional teams to provide infrastructure resources for internal and external projects.
Education & Experience:
- Requires BS degree, preferably in a technical discipline (e.g. engineering, networking, etc)
- 5+ years of professional experience in desktop support, LAN, WiFi networking and Systems Administration with increasing responsibilities
- MUST HAVE experience with Linux (RedHat), Windows, Oracle, VMware ESX/ESXi, LAN (Wired/Wireless), and WAN.
- Knowledge and experience with remote access, registry, computer management, installation and troubleshooting of both software and hardware.
- Experience removing virus threats / infections of spyware and or malware
- Excellent written communication skills
- Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Exchange and other software applications
Highly Desired:
- MCSE, A+, Cisco and other types of certifications
- Geek Squad experience is a plus
Qualities:
- Team player. Must be patient but can also act fast - this is a FAST-PACED environment!
- Requires strong communication (verbal and written) skills with other team members and clients.
- Strong problem solving/analytical skills. Demonstrate a willingness, interest, and aptitude to learn new technologies and skills.
- Self-motivated and driven by success.
- Ability to work with other departments and all levels of the company.
- US Citizen or Green Card holders, ONLY
- Strong dedication to quality customer service and a working knowledge of service support and delivery procedures.
- Excellent follow-through and attention to detail.
