FT: JDM Version 8 STi Cluster
Now I'm used to reading the speedo in Kph from having an SR20 swap for a long time but the significant other doesn't! So I'm lookin to swap back to USDM STi cluster. So for trade, I have a JDM V8 that reads almost 80,000km, (thats almost 50k in miles), lights up in red, has shiftlight and shift buzzer/beeper, it does the startup needle sweep ceremony, 9k tach with 8k redline, outside temp reads in celcius, and speed in kilometers. I'd like to trade for an 04 STi. Will try to take a picture later tonight.

It is plug-n-play for me with a 2005. Using the JDM V8 cluster requires whatever you would do for a USDM 2004 STi cluster to work in your car. I'm using this in a 2005 and it was a total plug-n-play. In mine the ABS light stays on (the polarity is reversed), the rear diff temp light stays on, and the DCCD light. Other than that, everything works fine from the needle sweep, shift light and beep, 5 Illumination settings, Trip A and B, outside temp (only works if you car has auto HVAC or you go through the task of installing whats needed and it ain't pretty). If any request for daytime or the cluster fully removed, I will do so this weekend.

Located in Concord/P.Hill, Let me research what is involved for an 05 cluster first before I commit. As far as I know, it isn't going to be a plug n play. I don't mind the lights that stay on; just the buzzing, fuse blowing, shaving plugs, or having to relocate pins.

Indeed a rare item. I love mine. This cluster is a full plug and play item. I also bought the "speedo chip" from IA Performance to convert KPH-MPH.
It's fun when your motor allows you to hit that 8k redline
