Just going to throw this out there and see if there is any interest. LTT a Borla XR-1, full 3" CBE. I really like the look and the sound, but once I put on a Perrin DP it got a little loud for my tastes. I understand the Perrin divorced WG is a loud design though so YMMV. Sounds really nice at low rpms and picks up nicely as revs climb without the volume increasing too much. Some youtube clips, posted by others One Two Three
Anyway, I'm just looking for something slightly quieter for cruising around Palo Alto's streets. I just ordered a set of new gaskets for my exhaust system, so if I was going to swap this guy out the time would be now. I believe it is a full 3" through, I don't see any evidence of a taper at the DP connection but I did have it hooked up to the stock DP for a while, just sandwiching the donut gasket. I'd be looking for something like an Evo2, Stromung, Bosal, Whisper, COBB, anything along those lines. I'd be willing to throw some cash on top (particularly for those last two makers) to make it happen, depending on what is being proposed. LMK if you have any interest.

Going to bump this again, never did swap out my gaskets. Anyway, anyone looking to step up to a slightly noisier exhaust? Full 3" stainless, quality piece. LMK what you've got, I'm flexible, can put cash on top, all that jazz.
