I haven't used these since i got them so i don't know what kind of bulbs are in them and how bright they are.
The low beams use a H7 bulb; they do make h7 hid kits.

The covers on these that were painted WRB, can be taken off with some screws and you could take them down to your local body shop or can do it yourself with some rattle can from http://paintworldinc.com/default.aspxthere stuff is really nice have done a lot in CGM.
