SOLD 04 STI Ohlins FPS:$1000 shipped, $950 local. Fixed perch struts, somewhere between 35-45k street miles on them. I don't think they are in need of a rebuild (many people say they never need one if they are used on the street). Both pairs compress evenly and all rebound to their original height. All are in great shape, the only minor caveat: one of the hex key inserts at the top of the threaded shaft on one of the rears is stripping (these are there so you can use an allen key and an angled wrench to remove the top nut). This has no effect on functionality, I always just used my mikita electric impact wrench and a 14mm deep socket to install/remove the top nut (which is the way it should be done IMO).

SOLD 05 STI prodrive (red) springs: $220 shipped, $200 local Picked these up used and I don't remember the history before I got them, but I put about 18k street miles on these w/ my Ohlins FPS (good match in my opinion)

SOLD 1" subtle spacers front/rear: $170 shipped, $150 local

Pics of parts and ride height on my forester shown below (car has 225/50/17 tires, for reference - I believe the front tops in this pic are the whiteline fixed offset max camber type plates (or else they are the whiteline max C hard plates) the type of top hat you run in the front will affect the ride height).

Also for sale:

Remflex uppipe gaskets: $30 brand new RF16-150 and RF16-170 uppipe to turbo and uppipe to manifold gaskets.

Welded set of STI headers and uppipe: $25 - I tried to install these and couldn't get them to fit. Picked them up from GST a while back, apparently they came off a WRX race car - all joints are welded with a flex crossover section... Probably easier to get on the car if the motor is out, or use them for some other project... just want them out of my shed!

~80mm shift lever extension rod: $10, used with a few scratches on the paint, etc.

Also open to trades etc, but there isn't much I need (some 5x100 silver BBS wheels? or a nice unlocked GSM android smartphone??)

Thanks for looking...

Bump for a sweet user name.

Do STi headers have more flow than your fozzy ones? I thought all of ours were the samel

Thanks! and LOL. Not sure anybody ever commented on my user name before. Technically, it's spelled wrong (should be badbadtz), but it's intentional - my initials are BAT and my wife's always been into hello kitty and so she officially dubbed me badbatzmaru waaay back in the day when we first met...

Actually the STI headers vs. Forester headers have been debated a lot, at least what I've seen on the interwebs. There once was a post on the old forester site (may even be there on the current site) which showed the manifolds side by side w/ caliper measurements which was supposed to be the definitive answer - STIs were shown to be slightly larger in that thread. But lots of people say they're the same - in fact, I think there can be a reasonable amount of variation part-to-part due to the casting process. I really don't know the real answer, sorry....

I ran all kinds of headers (mostly aftermarket) until I settled back on my stock forester headers w/ my current tune and I'm happy... these headers I bought from Mike @ GST - he told me that he had them welded them up because a track car kept blowing gaskets out and this fixed the problem. The crossover pipe is a flex section so there's some play (has to be some give somewhere for thermal expansion/contraction). But I can tell you, I tried to install them and it was a PITA with the engine in the car (even with the mounts unbolted and the engine jacked up). So I guess maybe these are better suited for somebody doing an engine build w/ the motor out of the car???
