I could just charge more for it. Nah.. I could ship the intake, it's not bad, just don't want to ship the big heavy metal things unless I have to.

Yeah I can ship the intake. I know of some boxes at work for it.

The guy I got it from had a RS with a Cusco strut tower bar, and according to him the strut bar did that. When he sold it to me ($45) he had a picture of it having a hole the size of a dime. When I got it from him, I touched it and my finger went through, so I knew the hole was a little bigger. I cleaned it up and trimmed away all the weak metal. I know of a couple people that could weld a patch on it. I am sure you could find someone in your area. Also, I can tell you a few ways to patch it yourself.

Yeah - it definitely opened it up a little and it amplified the Suby 'boxer' engine sound. Combined with the cat pipe it made a huge difference. The car was noticably slower when I took it off.

NOTE: The header is now no longer sale pending... Up for grabs.

I think I had something like that when I had my headers installed. It kind of sounds like there is air leaking out? I don't know. For me it kind of sounds like the garbage disposal. It is an interesting sound.

No cracks at all. The rear flange was bent/cracked when I got it so I had it redone professionally by Performance Fab in Redwood City.

If you hold the cat vertical one direction and then rotate it around so it's upside down you can hear the cat section move slightly like a "thunk" inside the pipe. Not sure if that's normal or not, but that is why I have priced it so low. I paid $230 for this from a RS25.com member, then had to pay $40 to have it fixed and now offering it for around $100 less after using it for 5k miles just because I am not 100% sure it's perfect. I am also throwing in a o2 sensor extendor that cost around $20.
