OK...it is NOT a salvage title! The car was NOT totalled.
The VIN is JF1GM6751YG402884
Sorry but this is the third time I've been asked that...
Also, the car is up for registration but I haven't done it yet...simply because it won't pass smog as is...due to the intake and exhaust. Sadly I don't have the stock parts anymore so I cannot take it to get smogged. I was trying to do that...but with all the stuff going on these days with the family and all I simply haven't had time. That is something that will need to be worked out.

The firewall can be sealed back to stock...if you know how to weld.
Please don't PM me stuff...if you want to contact me email or phone is the best way. My schedule is pretty insane these days with the family stuff and work so the extra complication of logging on here to get my PMs is a bit of a pain really. Email an phone calls I can deal with much easier. I'd appreciate that.
But...if you do have general questions that would benifit everyone (like the hole in the firewall) then by all means post them here. I just can't guarantee I'll be able to answer them efficiently.
So in regards to the smog question....the car would "probably" pass the sniffer test...I don't see why it shouldn't, it does still have a cat. However I'm betting that the majority of smog places would fail it outmatically because of the intake and exhaust. I have the original stock airbox (the bit that mounts to the throttle body)....but that's it. So to be safe I'd need the plumbing that attaches to the air box on the intake side. On the exhaust side the Borla can "should" be smog legal (and will mate up to the stock header and midpipe)...but I got it second hand and don't have any documentation for it...so that may be an issue. To summarize...to pass smog the car would need the stock intake and exhaust. If you can get it, I can swap it. Piece of cake to do really. I just don't have a lot of time to do it and since the price is soooo low I figure the buyer can get the parts...I'll swap the parts...I'll get it smogged...and sell you the car.
The registration is expired as well, but the insurance is current.
The repairs done to it from the accident are guaranteed for as long as I own the car...so if you want we could take it someplace to have it looked over, and if there is anything wrong with it I'll get it fixed.
I think that's about it!
Please call or email. My email addy is in the first post, as well as my number. No more PMs please! Thanks...
