i understand that, i was just letting other people know just for their information, regardless its a steal under 500 bucks for ap. GL with the sale.

when you install an access port, its "married" to that individual car's ECU. This ensures that someone doesn't buy an access port and lets all of their friends use it.

Once its married, you have to unmarry it manually. Often times people trade in cars and forget to unmarry the AP, and then you have a situation like this.

Cobb charges a buttload of money to basically reset it... which sucks cause it only costs them shipping fees.
