FS: Lexus RX330 AFS HID Projectors

9-6-06 NEW PRICE!!

These are MINT and un-modded out of a RX330 afs headlight. These are the PROJECTORS ONLY. No bulbs/ballasts. These are great projectors, especially if you have a clear lens on them, easily outperform s2k and tsx projectors in color and cutoff . These would be for those who want to do a HID projector retrofit

120 picked up, will throw in free trim rings for a retro

I'd be down to pick these up...Would they fit a 05 WRX and what else would I need after this? Bulbs/ballasts? And I'm guessing it's not a plug and play? Any information will help as I'm cause I'm not too familiar with this stuff.

TIA,
Ben

From what I can tell, these are only the projector housings for the bulb that you would put in a headlight. Therefore, you'd still have to buy a HID kit with bulbs, balasts, etc. This just allows your headlights to use the HID kit without blinding people... that is if I understand it correctly.

I think he means full on HID Projector retrofit. You gotta take out your headlights, take them apart, and the work your magic to get it into the space where your current healights are. Definitely not an easy task if you want it done well.

This is all correct. You are getting just the HID projector, you still need the bulbs/ballasts and you will need to retrofit them into your currently headlight housings or get a spare set. Its actually not all that bad, these projectors are not too large, i've fit the much larger bi-xenon version of these into WRX lights (still in progress)

You won't get that bright, wide, even light output that flickers purple/blue unless you are using a good HID projector

This is what you will be getting

They should be ok. jdadour (jon) retrofited some hella bi-xenon projectors into his and they fit fine, these are smaller than those so it shouldnt be too bad. Its always easier to retrofit projectors into housings that are already made for projectors
