Derp, I should read whole threads. I want to do the spare tire wagon enclosure thing.

Did a little more research:
Looks like it has an 8" mounting depth that might be to tall to do properly. The enclosure might need to much volume as well.

if you use the whole entire well it's enough space I'm pretty sure. but yeah unless that's done with a tire there, not deep enough for sure.

Just a little added info if you send out the W7 for a rebuild they replace all of the parts on the woofer except the basket and magnet and it is a flat rate repair for the 10 I believe it is 250 including shipping, and they will give you a 90 day warranty, I know this because my shop is an authorized JL dealer, so picking up a 10w7 which retails for 799 for 350 after repair is a screaming deal for one of the best woofers on the market
