FS/FT: 2007 Custom Blacked-out LED Taillights
I have a set of 07 taillights that I customized and I am getting bored of so they are up for sale $200 obo or I will trade them straight for great condition 04/05's or 06/07's + cash on your end. PM me with offers or questions. Thanks for looking

Running Lights
Brakes
Details:
The taillights were dremelled apart and the chrome was painted with krylon plastics ultra flat black. The lens for the backup and turn signal lights were removed.
I then removed the stop lamps and replaced them with 1 watt red LED floods from oznium.com (these suckers are super bright!!!). The running lights were replaced with two 12" red LED strips in each lens on the top and bottom (also from oznium).
Everything was wired back to the stock harness so it's just plug and play, soldered and re taped with care and then the lights were resealed with high temp black RTV. I have gone through a winter with them and did not have any issues with leaking.
The only issue I had with them is if you leave the running light switch on when you turn off the ignition, the running lights remain on. The LED's put a ground in the system, running it a half power. Not a big problem because they pull so little energy (I have left them on over night by accident and it didn't even drain the battery). A motivated person could fix this by installing a separate relay for the running lights.
