well. if there's no particular interest, i wouldn't mind keeping the car! it's one of those "it-would-be-nice-to-get-out-of-debt-now" sales. but if i don't sell i can work my *** off to get through it haha

The car, the setup, everything - sounds awesome. If it were blue, black or silver I would be doing stupid things to make sure I get my name on the title. I know the Unicorn is rare and special, so you shouldn't have a problem with this. I can only dream of the day my coupe is swapped!
Posts that say things like "you can get a WRX for that" should be totally ignored. First of all, the person doesn't know what they are talking about and they should have their "Submit" button taken away. Again they are comparing a totally trashed 'somewhat newer' car (the mysterious $14k WRX) to a very rare (maybe even unique?) little bit older car. No comparison.

I think you should sell it. To me. Anyone who say's 14k is not right, doesn't have 14k to spend on a car. I will soon, and when I do, I'm buying this car. I've been a troll here too long, time to join the fold!

That's the spirit, estrada. I would really like to swap a new engine and tranny into my '97 Impreza L, but got to wait until I have more money to do so. Yeah... Personally, I like the GC style bodies more than the newer WRX bodies.
I don't know about 14K though. I kind of thought long and hard about paying upwards of 14K for a swap and yeah. Oh well...

i would love to keep the car, but i know there's so much potential left in it that i can't fill. this car is an excellent platform to build up on. my plans would've been for a 6spd w/ rear end+dccd and an 18G turbo w/ supporting mods. that would pretty much complete the car
